Position Summary
Key Responsibilities:ā
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that enable seamless communication and data exchange between different software applications, systems, and platforms. ā
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams, to design, implement, and test APIs that meet the requirements of our organization and its clients. ā
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, monitor performance, and continuously improve API functionality and usabilityā
- Documenting of new and amended software components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes. ā
Requirements & Experience
- Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Brunei Darussalam.ā
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Technology or any other relevant field; ORā
- Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Technology or any other relevant field with a minimum of 3 years working experience.ā
- Having an ITIL Certification is an advantage.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Multiple coding or Programming Languages or Java or Python or JavaScript or Node.ā
- Good understanding in API documentation tools or Swagger or OpenAPI.ā
- Knowledge in cross-platform development, front-end development and application integration.ā
- Multiple coding languages. Operators can develop programs within technology like the cloud by using.ā
- Sound understanding in Programming Languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript and Node.ā
- Proven experience in API development ,API design and API orchestration, including designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs.ā
- Familiarity with Web technologies, including HTTP, JSON, XML and web services and API security best practices, such as authentication, authorization, and Encryption.ā
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, including debugging, error handling, and performance optimization.ā
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.ā
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.ā
- Ability to work in an agile development environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.ā
