Junior Collector (Retail) - Special Asset Management Unit, Collection and Recovery Department, COO Division
Position Summary
- Handling and monitoring of Non-Performing Secured Financing accounts (1 – 180 days).
- Contacting and negotiating with customers to make payment arrangements.
- Conducting Examination of Means and preparing Letter of Undertaking for customers/guarantors on agreed payment arrangements.
- Monitoring payment arrangements from delinquent customers.
- Evaluating and recommending the next course of action to be taken for Non-Performing accounts.
- Ensure adherence to BIBD’s service culture and that they are reflected in service delivery.
Requirements & Experience
- Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Brunei Darussalam.
- Possess at least 5 ‘O’ Levels or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in financing, back-office operations or sales.
- Has good knowledge of Retail Banking products, services and procedures.
- Highly driven and target-oriented.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate the team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, written and analytical skills.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and handling non-performing/ delinquent secured financing accounts (1-180 Days). This includes contacting customers to negotiate terms of payment and liaising with relevant parties to recover the amount owed by the customer.
