Senior Collector (Corporate), Special Asset Management Unit, Collection and Recovery Department

Position Summary

Monitoring and ensuring the overall effectiveness of recovery performance for the Bank’s Corporate written-off non-performing Financing accounts aged 181 days and above, including Corporate accounts under Receiving Orders.

Requirements & Experience

  • Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Brunei Darussalam.​
  • Possess at least 5 ‘o’ Levels or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in financing, branch, back-office operations or sales.​
  • Has good knowledge of Retail and Corporate Banking products, services and procedures.​
  • Highly driven and target-oriented.​
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate the team.​
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written and analytical skills.​
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling and monitoring of Non-Performing Corporate Financing accounts.
  • Contacting and Negotiating customers for payment arrangements.
  • Conducting Examination of Means and preparing Letter of Undertaking for clients/guarantors on agreed payment arrangements.
  • Monitoring payment arrangements from delinquent customers.
  • Evaluating and recommending next course of action to be taken for Non-Performing accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to BIBD’s service culture and that they are reflected in service delivery.
