Senior Policy & Renumeration Officer

Position Summary

Provide support to the Senior PR Manager on the development and implementation of remuneration strategies and HR policies. Ensures accurate and timely delivery of monthly payroll runs. Responsible for the administration and execution of remuneration and benefits policies within the organization.

Requirements & Experience

  • Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Brunei Darussalam.​
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field AND;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an officer in Human Resource related role.
  • Must be ready to work independently with minimum supervision.​
  • Experience in Banking would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external customers with regards to Policy and Remuneration (PR) and HR matters.
  • Maintain complete and accurate employee records related to payroll information.
  • Process payroll data changes (e.g. new hires, leavers, salary increment, promotion).
  • Stay current with payroll regulations, standards and work methods.
  • Review existing payroll processes and systems, recommending updates and improvements as required.
  • Provide guidance to staff regarding the processing of payroll-related items.
  • Assist PR Manager to administer leave management, awards and recognitions, claims and other benefits.
  • Fulfill all mandatory regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure timely submission, preparation and accuracy of the reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within HR processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.​
  • Develop and update HR-related policies, standard operating procedures, and frameworks to support business objectives.​
  • Ensure the highest standards of confidentiality in handling sensitive HR data and day-to-day tasks.​
  • Demonstrate a strong drive for excellence in executing HR responsibilities and supporting organizational goals.
