Position Summary
The Treasury Dealer will be responsible for executing day-to-day trading activities in the money market andfixed income (Sukuk) instruments. The role involves managing liquidity positions, executing trades in linewith approved limits, monitoring market movements, and supporting balance sheet optimization whileensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge in Banking practice and services
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to manage the different level of officers and staff
- Elements of economics and risk management
- Able to use Reuters and Bloomberg
- Value added advantage – possess technical skill analysis
Key Responsibilities
- To execute and manage all Money Market (MM), Sukuk and Structured Investments activities of the BIBDDubai Branch
- To maximise the returns on the BIBD Dubai Branch’s excess liquidity
- To monitor and provide updates on the BIBD Dubai Branch’s Investment portfolio including anyaccounting and system issues.
- Extracting the best prices for Money Market, Sukuk and Structured Investments transactions fromcounterparties to maximise the Branch’s returns thus increasing the Group’s income/profit
- To assist in performing fundamental credit analysis for Sukuk and Structured Investment issuers. Thiswould involve preparing proposal papers for submission and approval to respective authorities.
- To assess and onboard with appropriate controls on new counterparties including but not limited toSukuk brokers, and Money Market and Structured Investments counterparts.
