Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) recently reaffirmed its commitment to fostering inclusive communities and promoting social well-being, by supporting the newly-launched ‘Projek Memperkasa Ibu Tunggal’ – an initiative that aims to provide employment opportunities for single mothers, enabling them to achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life.
The community outreach initiative was launched under the Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers (EDPSGO), Cohort 31, Year 2024, according to the Civil Service Institute (IPA).
BIBD’s Head of Government Relations and Special Projects, Hj Mohammad Yusri bin Hj Wahsalfelah commented: “Our support for the ‘Projek Memperkasa Ibu Tunggal’ aligns perfectly with our BIBD Sustainability Framework, which emphasises the importance of fostering a sustainable and inclusive society.”
