BIBD Aspirasi 4 Winners Walks Home with B$250,000

Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) today awarded a life-changing grand prize of B$250,000 at the culmination of the BIBD Aspirasi 4 Rewards Campaign.
Five (5) quarterly winners also walked away with B$10,000 each, while fifteen (15) monthly winners were each rewarded with B$1,000.

Earlier in January, as part of the Aspirasi 4 Grand Prize draw, 25 subscribers were awarded with B$1,000 each as monthly winners. Prizes were handed over today by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister of Finance and Economy II and Chairman of BIBD’s Board of Directors during the Aspirasi 4 Grand Prize presentation ceremony held at the PGGMB building in the capital.

BIBD Aspirasi was introduced in 2018 in support to Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) objective towards promoting financial management skills and to nurture the discipline of savings amongst the people of Brunei Darussalam. Financial literacy is at the heart of what we do at BIBD, and the BIBD Aspirasi was designed and introduced to support the national goal of promoting better financial literacy among Bruneians as well as inculcate the habit of savings. To date, the number of subscribers for Aspirasi continues to grow exponentially and we hope this trend will continue to increase in the long run.

Insha Allah, BIBD, will always remain true to its Bruneian at Heart ethos and steadfast in supporting the national agenda towards creating a financially literate community. Over the course of 2022, the Aspirasi 4 campaign has awarded a total of 441 winners with cash prizes. BIBD had also launched its Aspirasi 5 campaign in December 2022, which will again
reward over 400 winners with cash prizes totalling B$870,000 over the coming year.

Following the great success of Aspirasi 4, this latest edition of the BIBD Aspirasi calls on the public to create an impact toward the greater good with their aspirations. BIBD has now increased the maximum deposit amount to B$450,000 while maintaining the minimum deposit from as low as B$50; enabling everyone to save and be part of the rewards program.

Since it was first launched, BIBD Aspirasi has seen encouraging growth recording an average growth rate of 88 per cent over the years.
