BIBD organises Dikir Maulud Ceremony at Ar Rahman Mosque

Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) held a Dikir Maulud ceremony at the Ar Rahman Mosque in Kampong Tanjong Bunut. The event, which was held to enliven the Maulidur Rasul celebration, was attended by the Ra’es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB), Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, who serves as the Chairman of BIBD’s Shariah Advisory Body.
The ceremony commenced with mass Maghrib prayers, followed by a Dikir Maulud led by participants from BIBD. Among the attendees were BIBD’s Managing Director and CEO, Awang Junaidi bin Haji Masri, along with members of the Shariah Advisory Body and senior management from BIBD. A total of 50 BIBD staff participated in the Dikir Maulud ceremony.
As part of the event, a special presentation of wakaf was made to the Ar Rahman Mosque, handed over by Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani on behalf of BIBD. This act of giving further demonstrated BIBD’s commitment to supporting the community and contributing to the well-being of local mosques.
The Dikir Maulud event was held to honour and reflect upon the countless sacrifices made by Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, inspiring love, respect, and gratitude among all attendees. Through the ceremony, BIBD continues to uphold the values of Islam and strengthens its dedication to both spiritual and community development.
