Four Lucky Winners Take Home B$10,000 each in BIBD Aspirasi Quarterly Draw

Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) today rewarded four lucky winners as part of the first quarterly draw of the BIBD Aspirasi 6 campaign. Each quarterly winner walked away with B$10,000 while 24 winners also won B$1,000 each as part of the campaign’s third monthly draw.

Handing over prizes to the winners was Managing Director of BIBD Securities, Jason Wong. Also present were BIBD management and staff.

The BIBD Aspirasi 6 campaign, structured to encourage and reward saving habits among its customers, offers a variety of prizes, as part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to financial inclusivity and literacy. This quarter’s prize distribution is part of a broader initiative that will see a total of 288 monthly winners and 16 quarterly winners by the end of the campaign period, from 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2024.

The winners were chosen from the pool of customers who had subscribed to BIBD Aspirasi with a minimum holding period of 90 days. Eligible certificate numbers were drawn during a live event earlier this month, with a separate draw being conducted at today’s event to determine the monthly and quarterly winners.

The 6^th cycle of BIBD Aspirasi maintains a low minimum entry of B$50, reflecting BIBD’s strategy to make saving accessible to a broader demographic. With two grand prizes of B$200,000 each at the end of the campaign, Aspirasi 6 continues to motivate and reward savers in Brunei.

In order to qualify for the reward draws, customers are required to maintain a minimum holding period of 90 days, with a minimum deposit of B$50 for the entire duration fo the programme.

BIBD Aspirasi is part of the Bank’s commitment as a long-term partner towards achieving Brunei Vision 2035, to build a strong financial foundation and increase the level of financial literacy among Bruneians by incentivising the practice of saving. This is in line with BIBD’s commitment towards sustainability and alignment with Maqasid Shariah.
