Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) today sponsored 200 trees in support of the 7th Reforestation Project organised by Hengyi Industries. This collaboration aligns with BIBDās Sustainability Framework, as evidenced by the bankās enduring commitment to Brunei Darussalamās endorsement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and its alignment with Brunei Darussalamās National Climate Change Policy as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).Ā
The 7th Reforestation Project was attended by the Minister Of Development,āÆYang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda Bin Haji Abdul Rashid. Also present was the Deputy Minister of Energy at the Prime Ministerās Office, Awang Haji Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah. BIBDās Managing Director and CEO, Awang Junaidi bin Haji Masri was also in attendance, along with BIBDās senior management and staff.Ā
